Thousands of talented students hope to be recruited by colleges and receive scholarships. Unfortunately, even very talented athletes can be overlooked if they do not prepare properly. Students who want to be recruited by a college must make sure they are academically eligible to attend the college of their choice. This means taking all of the required college courses in high school, making the minimum grade point average allowed or better, taking the SAT or ACT or both because this opens your eligibility to many more schools. Schools can be specific in the college entrance test they require.
What do you need to know to get recruited?
Hard work, self-control and responsible behavior lead to success in life. Nobody’s ever going to give you anything. Study hard, condition hard, be a good teammate, leave everything you have on the field. And good luck with recruiting. We are now currently working on all the middle school posters for football and volleyball! Hopefully we will have them done soon!
We are done with JH Rose high school and Kinston high school volleyball and basketball schedules!
